The Cross-Words - Part 2

To truly know Christ, as Paul expresses in Philippians 3:10–11, is to embrace both the power of His resurrection and the depth of His suffering. Through His final words on the cross, Jesus modeled the profound realities of suffering with patience, credibility, and empathy; finishing His mission with unwavering faithfulness; and offering His life in complete trust and worship to God. These moments reveal not only the cost of discipleship but also the eternal value of walking in His footsteps. As followers of Christ, we are called to approach God in our vulnerability, remain faithful in trials, and live our lives as a daily offering—trusting that our suffering refines us, our perseverance strengthens us, and our worship draws us closer to the heart of God.
